These connectors are of good quality, and would work well with a one pound or smaller robot. In these weight classes the connection itself is strong enough to not need additional reinforcement.

Unfortunately, the plastic is flexible enough that it is relatively easy to plug these in backwards by accident. For this reason I usually don't use them for my battery connections, though they work well for me as genderless connectors for Motor-ESC connections.

Solid connection, wire is very flexible. The thing I don't like very much is the insulation, it is very soft and does not strip very well.
