I use this motor in both my beetleweights and it's awesome! I push it to it's limits using a 4s battery so it gets really hot but it's super reliable! My motor burnt out at a local event after 4 years of use! And many victories! Highly recommended.

Please note that this and any motor like it has its front face screwed into the motor can.

If you face mount this motor, ensure the rotation is correct. If you get it wrong you can unscrew this face mount over time, causing the motor cant and contents to wind out and in some cases break.

I recommended using the clamp setup as per the kit!!
That thing is awesome and you wont have an issue.

If you must face mount:
when looking at the face, face-on, the safe rotation is clockwise.
If you are putting counter-clockwise rotational force, it will unscrew eventually.
