My 4-wheel beetle has been in over 30 fights with these hubs. I think I have replaced two of them. That's it. I can't say that for many other bot parts! Be sure to put a drop of loctite on the set screw, or it will work its way out over time and interfere with the drive, maybe causing your motor to burn out.

These hubs are an elegant, robust solution to mounting lite flite wheels onto a motor. These hubs can take some hits and are also simple and easy to install.

I would recommend purchasing the retaining ring pliers because most hardware stores will not have pliers that are small enough to work with these retaining rings.

They cost a little extra, but they are worth the splurge.
