FingerTech 3lb Undercutter Bundle

This bundle of parts is everything you need to build a NightWing 3lb Undercutter Combat Robot. It is not yet a "kit" because I believe kits should have instructions and I haven't finished those yet. But since we are going on vacation and many people have asked to purchase this before we leave, I have created this Bundle to get you everything you need. I'll try and record a quick video of the assembly before I leave, but feel free to ask me questions on Discord.

Build your own version of NightWing that delivers the battle-tested performance and show-stopping style that makes NightWing a fan favorite.
• No cutting or drilling required! (Unless you forego NightWing Frame Parts and build something custom.)
• This robot does require soldering. Quick connectors are fine in Antweights, but Beetleweights experience forces high enough to pop connectors right off of things. If you are stepping up to the 3lb class, soldering is a highly recommended skill to learn.

This bundle uses a "multi-purchase" style so that you can easily see all the parts, and if any are out of stock you can still get everything else.
• To purchase, add a "1" to each item on the multi-purchase list. You are welcome to "order off-menu" with this kit. The bundle is our suggested parts list, but if you want to change anything you can just add the parts separately and modify or subtract whatever you like. You may already own a battery charger and radio transmitter/receiver - if so, you wouldn't need to add those.

Bundle Includes:

Weapon Assembly:	The weapon is our new 3lb Undercutter Assembly with matching 3lb Undercutter Electronics. If you'd like to use these two products to build your own custom undercutter design, just use 3.18mm (0.125in) top and bottom plates, with 30.35mm (1.19in) tall walls. Space the motor axis 46.13mm (1.82in) from the weapon axis.  Operates on 3S standard, or 4S if you are planning to use a smaller diameter weapon disc.
Weapon Disc:	The weapon is our 10inch x 0.125 AR500 disc. Or, for even faster spin-up and a greater chance of gliding around the arena with blade vertical (trust us, it's very entertaining!), grab our 10inch x 3mm Titanium disc (bottom of multi-purchase options). Paired with a 3S lipoly battery this weapon will spin up to 8k RPM. That's 240mph tip speed!
Drive Motors:	2x 22mm 730rpm Premium Planetary Brushed Gearmotors. Alternatively, our Mega Spark Brushless Gearmotors have a stronger 6mm shaft. (See ESC section below for brushless setup.)
Motor Controllers:	2x tinyESCs translate the radio commands into motor movement and power the receiver. These are for brushed drive motors. If you are using brushless drive motors, you will need to grab 2x BL40A AM32 Reversing ESCs and 1x 5V Regulator instead of the tinyESCs.
Motor Mounts:	One pair of Carbon Fibre Mega Spark Mounts are a strong and easy way to securely hold drive motors in the UHMW sidewalls. The necessary screws are included.
Wheels:	One pair of 2.75x0.75" Foam Wheels are soft and grippy.  No substitutes - must be 2.75" to keep the blade flat to the floor.
Wheel Hubs:	One pair of 4mm x 0.75" Twist Hubs and Twist Hub Key.
Power Switch:	FingerTech Mini Power Switch or optionally, FingerTech Metric Mini Power Switch (requires a 2.5mm hex driver).
Battery Connector:	XT60 male connector
Battery:	3S (11.1V) 1000mAh "Galaxy" lipoly pack.
Wire:	Red 16ga wire for joining the XT60 to the Mini Switch, and creating a small pigtail for the weapon ESC and tinyESCs to join onto. Black 16ga wire for the negative side of things, except no power switch in that line. Includes 20cm lengths of each.
Screw Pack:	8x M2-0.40x5 Socket Head Screws for mounting the drive motors to the CF Mounts. 2pcs M2-0.40 x 16mm Flat Head Phillips Screws and 2pcs M2-0.40 Nuts for mounting power switch. 49x Button Head Plastite Thread-Forming Screws #6x1/2" (plus 6 spares) 4x Button Head Plastite Thread-Forming Screws #6x1" 6cm x 5mmOD heatshrink You will want to get a cordless drill with #2 Phillips bit for these screws. Set the clutch as light as it will go - the chassis screws do not need to be cranked tight.
NightWing Frame Parts:	Pre-cut and drilled frame pieces: - UHMW walls and motor mounts - TPU inner spacers - polycarbonate top - Garolite bottom plate
DIY Frame Materials:	One sheet of 0.375in and one 0.25in UHMW Polyethylene are used for the wall panels. UHMW is easy to work with and absorbs impacts very well. A sheet of 1/8in lexan and 1/8in garolite are used for the top and bottom of the robot. These come in 203x254mm (8x10in) sheets that will need to be cut and drilled to fit your custom design.
Safety Clamp:	All spinning weapons require a safety lock. Add this unless you already have one.
