Now available in two more new thicknesses: 0.6mm and 0.9mm!

- Does your robot need strong and light armor?  (Of course it does!)  Titanium is the #1 choice for armoring combat robots thanks to its high strength-to-weight ratio.
- FingerTech carries high quality Grade 5 titanium sheets. (Gr2 or "commercially pure" titanium is much weaker and not what you want for combat robots!)
- We carry thick titanium for weapon blades or impenetrable armor; thin and springy that can be bent around to make wheel guards; and everything in between.

Tips
- Use 0.5mm for wrapping around wheels and making springy, shock-absorbing armor.
- Use the medium sizes for rigid panels and wedges.
- Use 5mm and 3mm for weapon bars and blades. (Or impenetrable armor!)
- Thin sizes can be cut with aviation snips and metal shears, thicker sizes with rotary tools (dremel discs, angle grinder zip discs, metal-cutting chop saw), and bandsaws (using metal-cutting blade).
- Can be bent by hand tools or a brake (thicker sizes should be cautiously heated to glowing orange with a propane torch to prevent cracking). Larger radius bends work better.
- Use cutting fluid when drilling, with slow RPM and high pressure. Titanium will work-harden if you let the tool rub on the metal.

Amazing product
- 17th August 2023
I hadn't bought it from fingertech before, but i bought sheets of this titanium from elsewhere and i was incredibly happy with the results. as such, titanium is now my primary choice for my antweights! I'm extemely happy with this product and i hope it comes back in stock soon for my next antweight.
great stuff

i looked around and could not find any cheaper. This was defiantly the difference in me having my first positive run. I keep checking in at local metal shops to see if i can find any when they were sold out of the 1mm and no one had it and on amazon it was way more for a smaller sheet.
Cheapest i could find!

I got the 1mm thick piece, other titanium sellers were quoting anywhere from 30-50 USD for the same thickness, but FingerTech is what I went with. 10/10 for price and quality!
The Cheapest Super-Thin 6AL-6V on the Market
- 24th February 2015
I spent the better part of a day perusing various online metal suppliers, titanium men, and less-than reputable auction sites: the Fingertech 6AL-4V is the least expensive I can find in the sub-1mm thickness by a mile. Cuts beautifully whether by tin snips, hacksaw, or waterjet, weighs nothing, and gives you the strength of steel.
Amazing value

Great quality titanium for an amazing price. This is by far the best cost compared to any other source.
FingerTech will be my only source for thin titanium for now on!
